Daniel turns over and presses his face against Jack's chest, tired, warm, content. Jack's arm slides over his hip and caresses the curve of his butt, and Daniel gives a little sigh, nuzzling in closer, fingers lacing through Jack's.

He sometimes thinks he should have done this long ago. Jack made the first move but Daniel should have made it a long time ago, because this is what he loves.

Because when they come home from a mission and Daniel is the one who stays with Jack and sleeps next to him, he can't imagine anywhere else he'd rather be.
